Job Requirements:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in Lethbridge, AB.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in small animal or large animal practice.
  • Proficiency in performing surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering, and soft tissue surgeries.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive medical care to animals, including physical examinations, vaccinations, and preventive health care.
  • Diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries in animals, prescribing appropriate medications and treatment plans.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including routine surgeries and emergency procedures.
  • Utilize diagnostic tools such as x-rays, ultrasounds, and laboratory tests to assess and diagnose medical conditions.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing education and guidance on animal health and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other members of the veterinary team to provide exceptional care and support for animals.
